Inconsistent design patterns across Travel products hindered user experience and efficiency. To address this, I spearheaded the creation of a Travel specific design library. Built on the foundation of Google Material Design, this library established unified patterns for critical tasks, ensuring seamless user journeys across disparate product teams.

Given Travel's strategic importance, it was essential to pioneer mobile search experiences. As the principal subject matter expert, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive innovative concepts. Our focus was on creating immersive, exploratory experiences that seamlessly integrated with Google Search, regardless of content type.

Cross Product Strategy & Visioning

By deeply understanding user needs through stakeholder interviews, user research, and data analysis, I developed a functional prototype demonstrating the value of a unified travel experience across diverse customer segments and touchpoints.

User testing confirmed the potential of our new approach. Recognizing this opportunity, I pitched and staffed a video project to vividly illustrate the benefits of aligned product roadmaps. By crafting a compelling narrative, I secured leadership buy-in and positioned our vision as a strategic imperative and competitive advantage.
